Let $(X,{\mathcal{T}}_X)$ and $(Y,{\mathcal{T}}_Y)$ be topological spaces and $f,g:X\to Y$ be continuous maps. Then the homotopy relative to $\mathrm{\varnothing }$ is defined as homotopy relative to $\mathrm{\varnothing }$.
